Use this area to add any blackout dates specified in the contract. While uncommon with insurance-based funders, blackout dates are specific calendar days when the system blocks appointments or sessions entirely. Common uses include:
Dates restricted for billing, such as school district closures
Special compliance or billing restrictions (e.g., funder non-payment periods)
Adding a Blackout Date
Click the blue Add Blackout Dates button at the top of the screen and enter the desired date. When a scheduler attempts to schedule on this date, the system will display an alert and prevent scheduling unless they have permissions to override alerts.
