Steps to Add a Nonbillable Appointment Without Linking It to a Patient
Navigate to Scheduler: Go to the main Scheduler section.
Select Provider: Select the Provider option, and then choose the specific provider for whom you are scheduling the appointment.
Initiate Appointment Creation: Click the Add Appointment button.
Specify Appointment Type: From the Type dropdown menu, select the Nonbillable option.
Select Internal "Patient": In the Patients dropdown menu, select your Office Name. This name is usually prefixed with "NA" (for "Not Applicable") followed by your location name.
Complete Required Fields: You must then select the following details:
Authorization
Appointment Type
Location
Travel
Select Time and Date: Select the desired time on the calendar for the appointment.
Configure Recurring Sessions (If Applicable): For sessions that repeat, check the Recurring checkbox to set up the recurrence pattern.
This process ensures that the provider's time is blocked for non-patient-facing activities while maintaining accurate scheduling records.
