Place of Service at the Organization Level
In Motivity, you can set an organization’s place of service. You can also set multiple places of service, should this apply to your organization.
Your place of service is going to determine which time zone your session notes appear in. The place of service with the green check mark indicates the “default” place of service. This can be changed at any time.
Place of Service at the Learner Level
You can also set multiple places of services at the client/learner level. This would be helpful in cases where a client may receive services in multiple settings, such as their home, school, and center.
You can set a default place of service at both the organization and learner levels. We suggest setting the default as the location at which the client receives services the most often.
Places of Service and Session Notes
Importantly, each time you create a session note, Motivity will prompt you to select the place of service to associate with the note. The time zone from that POS will be reflected in the time fields on that session note.
Permissions Related to Places of Service
By default, Owners are able to edit and add places of service. Other roles with the "Manage Places of Service" permission toggled on can do so as well.
