Create a Session Note
To start a session note, go to a Learner’s Timeline & Reports and Click on the Session Note icon in the top right corner.
Then select the appropriate Session Note template that you need to fill out for the session. Enter in the billable start time and end time for that session and create a session note.
In order to complete the session note, all required fields must be filled out. It will not allow you to sign the note without the required fields completed.
It is SO important that you are taking data in real-time as Motivity auto-generates the data that was collected during the session note time. If you fail to take it in real-time, or at least by the end of your session, it will look as though you did not collect data during the session.
After signing your note, you can submit your session note as complete. Your organization may have a session note approval process that may prompt you to revise and resign your session note after review. Learn more in the article on Session Note Approval Process.
