Setting Up Your Service Inventory in Motivity
This article walks you through how to review, add, and manage services in your inventory for accurate and consistent setup.
Overview:
The Service Inventory in Motivity is where you define every service your organization provides, including both billable and non-billable offerings. Configuring this list ensures your workflows, scheduling, and billing align with the services you deliver. This article walks you through how to review, add, and manage services in your inventory for accurate and consistent setup.
Navigate to Service Inventory:
To find your Service Inventory, navigate to the Admin Module and click on "Service Inventory".

You will now see the Service Inventory landing page which will list all services, billable and non-billable, that your organization offers.

Manage Service Inventory:
To add a new service
1. From the Service Inventory landing page, click "Add Service"

2. When creating a new service, you’ll be required to add:

Service Name – Chosen internally by your organization.

Service Type – For example: Therapy, Supervision, etc.

Line of Business – Select the applicable line of business. For example: ABA, Speech, etc.

CPT Code (if applicable) – Required for billable services.

Note: If the service is non-billable, you do not need a CPT code.

Pay Code – Add if the service is calculated for payroll purposes. If you need to add to this dropdown, click on the Paycodes button in the top-right corner and select "Add Paycode".

Active Date – The date the service becomes active in the system in order for your team to utilize it to schedule services.
- Supervision Tracking - Toggle to "Yes" if the service should be tracked for RBT supervision. Toggle to "No" if the service should not be tracked for RBT supervision. New services will default to "Yes".

Note: You can add the same CPT code across multiple services.

Modify Existing Services:
To make changes to existing services
1. Click on the pencil icon under "Actions" for the service you want to change.

2. Edit the service information within the box that generates.

3. If you need to archive a service your organization no longer uses, select "Archive" under "Status".

Finding Archived Services
If you need to locate services that have been archived, toggle between "Current" and "Archive" by selecting the appropriate list under "Show".
