Repost
The Repost button in Motivity allows users to manage claims that need to be resubmitted to the clearinghouse due to issues or updates. When a user clicks on the Repost button, they are given two options:
Repost to Clearinghouse (As Is)
This option resubmits the claim to the clearinghouse without making any changes. It is useful when the claim was rejected or not processed due to external errors (e.g., clearinghouse acceptance issues) but does not require any modifications within the claim itself.
Regenerate
This option voids the claim and sends it back one step to ‘unposted batches’. It is used when there is a need to update or correct claim data (e.g., modifying CPT codes, modifiers, or fixing errors identified during claim scrubbing). After regeneration, the updated claim can be resubmitted to the clearinghouse.
