BACB Trainee Supervision

Did you know that Motivity has a program and report specifically for the supervision of Trainees (those who are working toward board certification as a behavior analyst)? This program was built with Behavior Analyst Certification Board ® (BACB®) processes in mind.

There are two items of note:

The program (can be found here) - this should be used when supervising a trainee, either in the presence of a client or not.  There are two parts to the program - one measures behaviors related to supervision in general, and the other is specifically for when the trainee is providing direct services under observation.

Preloaded in the program are targets for each setting, but feel free to adjust them to make it your own.

The companion to this program is the supervision note (you will need to ask your CSC for this to be added to your account).  This note can be used each time you meet with your trainee, whether or not that trainee was providing direct services.

You will see that it can be customized by environment - Individual or Group; Restricted or Unrestricted, etc. and there is a place to add hours that have been accumulated.  Like all Motivity notes, data from the Trainee Program discussed above can be populated into this note.

This note does not take the place of the Monthly Fieldwork Verification Form that is to be provided in case of audit.  It simply keeps track of each supervision meeting in an easy and useful manner - because if it’s not documented, did it really happen?
