Manual Provisioning of Learners from Aloha ABA

If you use our integrated practice management (PM) system Aloha ABA, you can manually “provision” profiles from the PM system into Motivity, to avoid having to manually create the profiles in both Aloha and Motivity. To do so, your integration must be turned on. Reach out to Aloha ABA if your integration has not been initiated.

To provision learner profiles:

In Motivity, navigate to settings → integration → Aloha ABA → Learners

From there, you may see an icon titled “# Not Linked Aloha ABA” - these are profiles that exist in Aloha, but do not yet exist in Motivity. Click this icon.

From there, you will see a list of any and all learners that exist in Aloha, but do not yet exist in Motivity. In this case, Albus Dumbledore has been entered as a client in Aloha, but he does not have a profile in Motivity.

  • You will see a white box with a + and the name of the learner.
  • Click that box to create a profile for that learner in Motivity.
  • You will then see an orange warning pop up. If you wish to proceed, click “Create Learner.”

As you can see below, there is now a Motivity learner profile for Albus. Motivity automatically assigns it an alias (AlDu), and all demographic information from the Aloha profile, such as DOB and address, will come over into the Motivity profile.
